The project explores the embodiments of collectivism in different occasions and find its compatible history background and outcomes by showing cuisine’s cooking process. The image displays the process four people striving to work together cooking one bowl of tofu repeatedly. I tend to discuss influence of collectivism to individuals which is praised by the Chinese bureaucracy and its leading function to socialism market. Further, I rethink collectivism’s role in Chinese modern and contemporary language environment and evokes my re-cognition towards society and its concept.
