The project appears the secret of the kitchen, located in an alley near a tumour hospital in installation, sound, and video. In China, dining tables and food means family and reunion. Eat itself is a very intimate activity, but it related to illness. Through the public medical treatment platform, the kitchen becomes commonplace. I consider redefining the space—kitchen through moving image and blurring the boundaries between disease and commonplace to escape from the inpatient ward and is an ideal escape.
